Promptly does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Your voice and scripts never leave your device.
Promptly uses Apple's Speech framework for voice recognition. All speech processing happens entirely on-device. No audio is recorded, stored, or sent to any server — including Apple's servers. The microphone is only active while you are actively using the teleprompter.
Your scripts are stored locally on your device. Promptly does not sync, upload, or share your script content with any third party. Scripts are never transmitted over the network.
Promptly makes zero network calls during normal use. No data is sent to any server. The app works entirely offline.
Promptly contains no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, and no crash reporting beyond what iOS provides by default through Apple.
No account is required to use Promptly. There is no login, no sign-up, and no user profile.
